Sobriety & Marriage

Helping couples in Orange County and throughout CA navigate sobriety & recovery.

You thought sobriety would solve all your problems.

You feel like your relationship has already been put through the ringger because of active addiction. You were convinced that once drugs or alcohol were no longer in the way, you would have the relationship of your dreams. And now you’re confused about why you’re still arguing all the time...

You disagree about whether or not it’s okay to keep alcohol in the house or for one of you to drink at social gatherings. The trust between you is completely broken due to years of substance use and you both are at a loss on how to rebuild.

You’re confused, resentful, and have no clue how to move forward.

Have some questions?

  • We’re a fairly laid-back couple. Our approach to therapy is direct and practical, but we also like to laugh and have a lot of fun.

While we may talk about difficult things during counseling, we’ll go at your pace.

Sessions are typically once a week for 60 minutes.

  • While a 12-step program is an effective solution for many couples learning to thrive in sobriety, it might not be right for you…and that’s okay!

While we’ll often suggest supplemental resources to help you in your relational journey, it’s always up to you to decide what’s right for your unique circumstances.

  • The length of time we’ll spend in counseling. Some couples come in to address a specific issue while others find that they stay for a while as their lives evolve and circumstances change.

We’ll be available to you for as long as it is helpful.

  • Fees are $350/60 minute session.

We don’t currently take insurance. If you would still like to work with your insurance, your insurance may provide some reimbursement. To help, we can provide a monthly superbill that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

  • Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
